Flexible Feeding Vibratory Bowl System
Flexible vision-guided feeding platform for rapid material changeover and automated orientation of small metal, electronic, plastic and battery components.
This flexible feeding system combines a vibratory platform, vision guidance and robotic handling for automated part presentation and pick-up. It is designed for hardware components, capacitors and inductors, chips, circuit boards, building-block particles and battery caps.
The integrated software provides operating status, login, CCD settings and calibration, template matching, flexible-feeding setup and automatic-feeding setup. The user interface allows fast material changeover and product-specific vision, sorting and transfer parameters.
Internal control algorithms support multiple vibration patterns to achieve the required product orientation, including left-right, up-down, spreading and diagonal motions.
During operation, bulk parts are loaded onto the flexible vibration tray, the vision system identifies position and orientation, coordinates are sent to the robot, and the robot picks and transfers each part to the target fixture.
